A fire sprinkler & standpipe system is a water-based fire protection system. In this system there will be networked pipe line in all over the building. When a hydrant valve become turned on from any point of the building the system experiences a drop in water pressure and then pump will starts automatically and supply water to maintain the water pressure continuously. Again a sprinkler system is an active fire detection cum automatic protection system. Sprinkler heads activates on the basis of built-in heat detection and sprays water instantly. The full system is in accordance to NFPA and BNBC.
A fire sprinkler system is an active fire protection method consisting of a water supply system providing adequate pressure and flow-rate to a water distribution piping system onto which fire sprinklers are connected.
